TICKET SALES

Tickets are sold subject to the Terms and Conditions as displayed on the premises. Prices are available on the website. All riders must complete a Membership Application, Release and Indemnity Form before purchasing tickets. Please note that in the Go Zone area all kids kart sessions and amusement rides close at 5 pm daily

FREE ENTRY

Entry to Kingston Park Raceway is absolutely free and you’re welcome to enjoy the many facilities available.

 

KIDS KARTING AND AMUSEMENT AREA

Dual, Rookie and Formula Kart rides are available between 10am and 5pm 7 days per week.

Go Zone Amusement rides are open every day between 10am and 5pm during Qld school holidays, but are closed Monday to Friday at any other time. Amusement rides are open all weekend 10am till 5pm.

Having a Birthday soon, Kids parties are our speciality, call the events management team on Ph 07 3826 2255.

FAMILIES WITH YOUNG CHILDREN

Kingston Park Raceway has two seated karts on the Indy Track which are suitable for kids from 5 years of age (900mm minimum height) to ride in as a passenger with an adult driver. We welcome families with children and offer many amusements and fun things to do during your day at the Raceway.

 

SAFETY

Safety is our main priority here at the raceway so we ask that you please ensure that you follow all instructions of the Track Marshals and take notice of the driving instructions as displayed. Any person who refuses to follow the requests of the KPR staff may be asked to leave the park.

 

HELMET POLICY

Kingston Park Raceway supply driver loan helmets free of charge in sizes XS to XL for patrons. Drivers may wear their own helmet, which must comply with the Australian Standard AS1698. Other Australian Standards such as AS2063 (bicycle approved) are not acceptable. Due to the likelihood of material entanglement in the karts driver gears Turbans, Burka’s, Scarfs and any other head dress are for safety reasons not permitted to be worn on the karts by drivers whilst racing

 

LONG HAIR SAFETY ALERT

Due to the likelihood of entanglement in the karts driver gears all drivers with hair longer than shoulder length must wear a hooded garment that will retain any loose hair whilst driving the go-karts. They may bring a long sleeved hoody style garment from home or purchase a disposable suit for just $5.50 at the Pit Stop Café.

 

AMENITIES

Toilets for Male / Female and Disabled patrons are available

Baby change facilities are located in our Main Amenities building,

Lockers for personal storage may be hired for $3.00 for 4 hours

 

DRESS STANDARDS

For comfort and safety, we require that you wear enclosed protective footwear and request that you wear a jacket or jumper whilst racing the karts.  Some loan shoes of limited sizes are available at the counter. Long sleeve and leg protective clothing is recommended.

 

WHAT IS A RACE SESSION

Rookie Kart and amusement ride sessions are 3 minutes (Go Zone). Formula and Predator Kart sessions are 6 minutes (Monte Carlo Track). Schumacher Kart sessions are 10 minutes in duration (Le Mans Track).

 

RIDE RESTRICTIONS

Restrictions such as height, weight and/or physical ability apply to some go karts and amusements. As a condition of entry to the track you accept the risks of taking part in those activities and should make your own assessment of those risks before doing so. To ensure you have a safe and enjoyable day we advise that you must obey all safety signs.

Minimum ride height for children is 900mm.  Minimum age for karting and amusement rides is 5 years at Kingston Park Raceway.

 

NO GLASS POLICY 

As a safety precaution, Kingston Park Raceway has a ‘no glass’ policy. When you enter the complex you must hand in to customer service staff any glass containers in your possession. Those containers will be returned to you at your request when you exit the complex. Containers that are not collected within seven (7) days will be treated as abandoned and Kingston Park Raceway has the right to dispose of them.

 

TRADING HOURS

Sunday, Monday, Tuesday: open 10am – 5pm

Wednesday, Thursday: open 10 am – 9pm

Friday, Saturday: open 10 am – 10 pm

Amusement area operates weekends, Qld School holidays and Public Holidays only: Amusements close at 5pm

 

FREE WI-FI

Free Wi-Fi is available throughout the park and there is good mobile phone reception. Drivers are encouraged to register on line using the Kingston Park Raceway mobile application open your browser on the mobile device or search for www.kingstonpark.com.au and you will see a mobile version of our website.

KART RACING CAN BE DANGEROUS

When you purchase a ticket you are do so with the knowledge that it is possible that serious injury may occur as other riders in your sessions may be of limited skill and ability. All riders must accept the risks associated with racing in mixed groups and must obey all instructions from track marshals.

 

HEALTH WARNING

Because of the extreme forces and excitement created by go karting and amusements, riders should be in good health and free from any physical limitations or medical conditions, including but not limited to neck weakness, back weakness, recent surgery, broken bones, heart conditions, nervous disorders, motion sickness and epilepsy. Management recommends that pregnant women should not ride the karts and amusements without medical approval. It is the responsibility of the supervising carer or guardian of anyone of diminished intellectual or physical capacity to notify Kingston Park Raceway in writing of that diminished capacity. For safety reasons, people with diminished capacity will not be permitted to participate in any Kingston Park Raceway Sprint or Endurance race events.
